Becoming Better Together

Cassie Caldwell, PT, DPT

My Philosophy

My philosophy starts with the patient. From the moment they walk in the door, I want each and every one of my patients to know that it is all about them. I truly love what I do and I take a lot of pride in our clinic. I strive to take care of every patient to the best of my ability. To that end, I always say "If I can’t make you better, then I will put you in the hands of someone that can." I believe in a team approach, and good communication with the whole care team is key.

I love getting my hands on each patient, and I am a very manual therapist. I also believe that exercise, posture, and education are just as important. Therapy is not usually a "quick fix," but it is my job as your therapist to get you better as quickly as I can. I genuinely care for each patient and always want people to have a good experience.

My Background

I went to undergraduate school at Wartburg College, then continued to graduate school at St. Ambrose University where I earned my doctorate in physical therapy. I enjoy working with individuals of all kinds, and my specialty areas include neck pain and vestibular rehabilitation. I have a deep passion for golf and really enjoy working with golfers and athletes of all kinds, at every level. I have big career goals for the future and will continue to strive to become a therapist you can always trust to provide excellent care.

I have been a client of Cassie’s for a few years now. As I grow older, I find that it takes more and more effort to keep my body functioning as an active senior. Cassie has been my fully committed partner in meeting this goal. Her training, personality and professionalism have combined to assist me in continuing to lead the full and active life which I value.

I had very specific goals, because before surgery I had been dancing for about 20 years. I had a great will to get as much strength and flexibility as possible, but, on occasion, it was the therapists who reminded me of my goals and pushed me through the pain...A giant thank you to all the wonderful people at Kepros Physical Therapy!
