My Philosophy
As a physical therapist, I believe in providing patient-centered care that empowers individuals to actively participate in their rehabilitation and overall well-being. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that movement is essential to health, independence, and quality of life. I strive to create a supportive environment where each patient feels heard, respected, and motivated to reach their personal goals.
I view physical therapy not only as a means of restoring physical function, but also as a process of education, collaboration, and encouragement.
My Background
I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, where I developed a strong passion for athletics and teamwork through my years as a competitive athlete. I went on to play college softball while earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from South Dakota State University. Building on this foundation, I pursued my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Des Moines University, where I combined my love for movement with my passion for helping others, gaining the skills to guide people through the challenges of rehabilitation and recovery. In my free time, I love to read, spend time with my fiancé and our dog Remi, travel, and catch up on the latest TV shows and movies!
