I believe a true balance in life means a balance with health. It’s paramount that we strive to keep moving every day. When circumstances arise that affect our mobility and keep us from doing the things we want to do, sometimes we need assistance to get back on track.
When it comes to physical therapy, patient education is key to optimize outcomes. We need to not only know how to perform an exercise, but understand how it relates to function and reaching our individualized goals. Nobody should settle for average care. I aim to rise above the bar and am always trying to grow so that I can be better for the people I serve.
I’m proud to be part of such a positive and dynamic team at Kepros Physical Therapy where I know the patient truly comes first.
I earned my Associate of Applied Science degree from Kirkwood Community College and am an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association. Prior to becoming a physical therapist assistant I graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in film. I traveled the world working as a camera assistant for 5 years, however my dedication to physical health, running, and competitive bicycle racing eventually led me back home to the Corridor. After being rehabilitated from a bicycling injury I sustained in a crash, I decided to pursue a career centered around physical therapy and helping others reach their goals.
