Corey Dieser, PT, DPT, OCS
I was initially drawn to physical therapy through the collaborative nature of working with people to achieve their goals for health, fitness, and sports. My ultimate professional goal is to help people return to and even exceed their prior abilities. The importance of hands-on therapy interventions cannot be underestimated, and I utilize these effective techniques to assist individuals to reach their desired outcomes, improve movement, and decrease pain.
Education is paramount to developing a quality comprehensive treatment, both as a clinician and also for each patient. New research and techniques are constantly changing, and I am passionate about using the most current strategies to improve health. My professional interests in physical therapy treatment include but are not limited to: neck and low back pain, orthopedic and sports injuries – particularly running – and persistent or chronic pain conditions. I look forward to meeting new people, learning their stories, and finding out how I can help them achieve more.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Cornell College in 2011. Upon graduation, I attended the University of Iowa to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2013. I am experienced in outpatient private practice physical therapy, having completed a residency in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion. I also achieved board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2016. Recently, I served as district director on the state board of the Iowa Physical Therapy Association. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, cooking, playing basketball, running, and golfing.
